Detox Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2019 by Saad Umar. The organization’s main goal is to help societies become healthier through education and awareness of drug abuse, smoking, and mental illnesses that are reoccurring amongst the common folk on a day to day basis. All of the issues the organization deals with are becoming more widespread and need to be taken more seriously by the common folk. Detox Foundation expounds on its mission in a number of different ways: pamphlets, talk sessions, social media, training courses, and through global chapters. To date, Detox Foundation has established chapters in eleven states and ten countries including Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Philippines, Burkina-Faso, and many more. As the organization grows larger, it seeks to create more chapters around the world in ultimately expanding knowledge and awareness to as many people as possible in the hopes of inciting a meaningful difference throughout at-risk communities.
